Results of research over a five year period among three different high schools with 200 students attending 6 or more meetings:

• 90% decrease in Behavioral Referrals
• 80% increase in Daily Attendance
• 40% increase in GPA

Options to start the program:

1.   Download the manual (review thoroughly), create a support team, involve students, and start meetings.

2.  Send a support team to Arizona for two-day training.

       The training includes the following topics:

• Redefining Addictive Behavior
• Recovery, a vulnerable process
• Evolution of Teen AA
• Keeping the program ‘politically correct’
• Confidentiality process
• Defining addictive behavior
• Staff and community ‘buy-in’
• Educating parents
• Higher Power
• 12 step process
• Problem solving

Inclusive of 4 outbreak sessions to model the 12 step meetings.

3.  Team available to bring Teen AA training to out of state sites for additional cost covering transportation and accommodations.
