Biography
Susan Rothery, with a Masters in Educational Counseling, has worked throughout her career as an educator, crisis counselor, motivational speaker, consultant and trainer. Her works include: Ten Challenges for Parent and Teen Survival; The Adolescent Health Promotion and Pregnancy Prevention Manual; as well as the Teen Addiction Anonymous Training Manual. Her thirty years in the public school system with teens from a multitude of socio-economic settings and alternative programs, have given her a broad perspective in addressing prevention and intervention strategies. While organizing over 2,000 students in support groups, mediating gang members, and developing programs for crisis control, Susan was encouraged by teens to develop a 12-step program that could be used in the public school system.
Susan is available for staff training for Teen Addiction Anonymous. |
